Rockridge Physical Education

Objectives of Physical Education:
  • To promote a positive attitude and awareness towards an active and healthy lifestyle in the pursuit of lifelong health.
  • To assist students in developing and maintaining a healthy level of physical activity and fitness.
  • To develop efficient and effective motor skills as well as knowledge and understanding involved in attaining competence in a variety of athletic and recreational pursuits.
  • To offer an environment, which encourages cooperation, teamwork, responsibility, sportsmanship and self-confidence.

PE Strip

Please wear a change of appropriate clothing for PE class. This should include a t-shirt, active pants or shorts and supportive shoes with non-marking soles.

Leave your devices behind and lock them up !

Typically there is no need for your device in PE so please lock it up as thefts happen. 

Bring a Water Bottle

No food or drink is permitted in the gym. 

We go outside! Be prepared!

Bring a light sweatshirt or jacket and a change of shoes and socks because it can be wet underfoot. Dress appropriately for the weather.
